Liz Yoho, Member At-Large

Professional Title: Domestic Engineer with duties of logistics, finance, property management, and crowd control.
Military Service: Military wife
Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising
Professional Biography: I started my career in Merchandising and really enjoyed that for about 5 years. I then stayed home to be with my 2 children and that eventually grew to 7 children. I was able to help out at my husband’s businesses as needed and school our 7 children at home until high school. Later after they had grown up and graduated, I worked part-time at Akron Children’s Hospital in the Behavioral Health Unit.
As a family we experienced military life with my husband in the Ohio National Guard for 33 years which included 2 deployments and many weeks and weekends away. We were very familiar and involved with the Ohio National Guard’s support for spouses and families’ programs and were able to find many opportunities to get involved and offer support to others in similar situations.
Why Liz supports veterans through Live With Honor: Veterans have given it their all to help our communities, our states, and our country. We have firsthand seen the camaraderie, the struggles, the successes, and some heart-wrenching situations. They deserve our gratitude and our support.
Personal Note: Will and Liz’s family motto is “We need bigger buckets to catch all of God’s blessings. He feels his life has been so blessed, and he just wants to be a blessing for others.
