Will Yoho, Member At-Large

Professional Title/Biography: Will started, purchased and owned numerous businesses in NEO. Including HVAC, Plumbing. Commercial Refrigeration, Commercial Real Estate Brokerage, National Youth Athletic Tournaments, Commercial and Residential Real estate Rental company.
Will was ordained as a Deacon in the Diocese of Cleveland in 2007. He currently shepherds Mother of Sorrows Parish, as Parish Life Coordinator in Peninsula, Ohio.
Will competed in numerous Triathlons, 50K, Marathons and the 4-day, 357-mile Pan-Ohio bike ride to raise money for cancer.
Will serves on several nonprofit boards to include Vice President- First Friday Club of Akron, Chairman- Catholic Charities of Summit County, and Vice Chair for Peter Maurin Center
At age 19 Will and a friend, Dr. John Clark, planned, organized and executed Bike for Life- Ethiopian Famine Relief, which raised over $20,000. They rode their bicycles from Ohio to California, to Texas and back, 5608 miles in 61 days.
William and Liz have been married for 38 years, and they live on a 65-acre farm in Cuyahoga Falls. They have 7 children and 8 grandchildren. Will enjoys life on the farm, has a huge garden, fruit trees, grapes, honeybees, maple syrup and loves hunting and fishing. He loves working as part of a team, to accomplish big goals and dreams. But most of all he loves spending time with Liz, the kids, and the grandchildren.
Military Service: Will served in the Army National Guard for 33 years and retired at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He was deployed twice, once to Kosovo and once to Afghanistan. After returning from Afghanistan, in 2012, he spent 2 years in the wounded warrior program and was medically retired in 2014.
He had the privilege of commanding 3 different units over a 5-year period, to include serving as Commander of the Ravenna Arsenal Training Area. He said the highlight of his military career was serving as a Casualty Notification and Casualty Assistance Officer to the families who lost sons and daughters who were Killed in Action.
